"HARP MUSIC UNDER THE STARRY SKY "
Christine Högl has specially designed this programme for performances in planetaria. Full of sound and vision, this is a journey into the distant worlds of the universe.
Since her first visit to a planetarium in Trégor in Brittany in 1992, Christine Högl has been fascinated by the unique perspective of the universe made possible through the projection technology of modern planetaria. Playing the harp in the planetarium dome seems to her almost like making music under the real starry sky.
In the following years, Christine Högl toured with two live-productions and composed the music for two fairy tales in planetaria. As a member of the International Planetarium Society IPS, Christine Högl has built an outstanding reputation for her performances.
In her planetarium concerts, the audience experience imaginative harp compositions together with impressive projections. Leaning back comfortably, the listeners float into the mysterious dimensions of the universe.
The live multimedia productions are directed by the artist herself. The projections were created by the University of Applied Sciences
- Mediendom, in Kiel . The realisation is taken on by the planetarium itself.
