“ON THE COAST OF LEGENDS” is her current CD release and also her concert programme. Christine Högl invites you to a musical excursion to the Coast of Legends, her favorite coast in Brittany. She has been inspired by this fascinating landscape to compose her impressions for the Celtic harp.

This music recounts fascinating impressions of nature: from the vastness of the sky, the wind and the roar of the surf, and the clear stillness of the starry heavens. She steals off with her listeners into a mysterious, magical world of sounds and musical images.

Brittany is original, coarsely romantic, mysterious, and a habitat of the Celtic harp. The Bretons have retained for the most part their unique way of life. The Atlantic washes over the granite rocks, witnesses to perpetual rhythm, monuments suggesting ancient knowledge. The wind blows strongly, and with it a free spirit with which one meets up again throughout the Celtic culture, in music and dance. On the coast yearning draws one's gaze far across the ocean to the horizon where one's soul and heart touch another world.
